Andhra Pradesh Home Minister, Sabitha Indra Reddy has appealed to the people from North East states who left for their native states, to come back to Hyderabad as there is no threat to their safety. The Home Minister has reviewed measures taken for the security of Assamese working and studying in Hyderabad on Saturday in which two Ministers from Assam , Pradut Bordoloi and Rakhib-ul-Hussain, representatives of IT Industry and senior police officials took part.Later she told reporters that the state government has taken all possible steps to ensure safety of people from Assam and other North Eastern states in Andhra Pradesh. Appealing to people from North East not to go on en mass leave the minister said a help line has been set up to receive complaints if any from Assamese.
