North Central Railway installing CCTV cameras at five railway stations

The North Central Railway is installing CCTV cameras under the Integrated Security System at five railway stations. Speaking to media today after completion of special security drive in the NCR region, Chief Security Commissioner of the Railway Protection Force, Mr. S K Singh said that more than two hundred CCTV camera are being installed in Allahabad, Kanpur ,Jhansi Agra and Mathura stations under the integrated security system. <br/><br/>He said that in the North Central Rail region total thirty stations have been identified for enhanced security system. In the other 25 rail stations of NCR, close circuit TV cameras will be installed under center's Nirbhaya Fund scheme. The railway police officer said that a month long special security drive was carried out by railway police in the region and took action against 1300 people mainly against who boarded in women compartments of different trains.
