North and South Korea discuss sending art troupe to Winter Olympics

North and South Korea have begun talks on Pyongyang's plan to send an art troupe to the Winter Olympics taking place next month in the South. The talks began today, on the northern side of the Panmunjom truce village on the military demarcation line that divides the Korean Peninsula. Lee Woo-sung, South Korea's senior culture ministry official, is its chief delegate. The North's top envoy is Kwon Hyok Bong, who heads its culture ministry's performing arts bureau. <br/><br/>North Korea's plan to send an art troupe to the Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea, is believed to be on agenda.<br/><br/>North Korea agreed last week to send a delegation to the Games, easing months of tensions between the neighbours over its nuclear programme. The Olympics is set to open on 9th of next month.
