The Home Minister has said, things are returning to normal in Jammu and Kashmir although it is too early to say that everything is normal. Mr. Chidambaram, who reviewed the security situation in the State on Sunday in Srinagar has said, there is a sense of expectation that political problems in J&K will be addressed in all seriousness. Replying to questions from media in New Delhi today, he expressed the hope that the people in the State will give peace and dialogue a chance. Mr. Chidambaram visited Srinagar, Leh, Kargil and Baramulla during his two-days' visit to the State. He reviewed the security situation with the Chief Minister, state authorities and the central paramilitary forces.
