Normalcy limps back in rain hit Maharashtra

The incessant rain that disrupted life in the Konkan belt of Maharashtra for the last 4 days, is slowly receding. Due to which, the life and traffic is slowly and steadily resuming back to normalcy.AIR correspondent from Ratnagiri reports that temporary train services that resumed on Sunday are operational on the Konkan Railway although with delays. AIR correspondent from Raigad has reported that traffic on the Mumbai – Goa highway continues to remain disrupted for the second consecutive day on Monday following a landslide at Kashedi Ghat bordering the Ratnagiri and Raigad districts. The work of clearing the debris from the highway is still on.Rain in the Sindhudurg districts has receded. AIR Sindhudurg correspondent reports that life is returning back to normal.
