In Maharashtra, normal life remains affected due to incessant rain. Many trains plying on the Konkan Railway between Mumbai and Goa, Karnataka and Kerala have been cancelled and some are diverted. On Monday, five trains on the Konkan Railway route have been cancelled, one train has been partially cancelled and routes of seven trains have been diverted. AIR correspondent reports Sindudurg district received a total of 664 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours. The met department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours in Sindudurg and the administration has issued a high alert in the district.
