Normal life was completely paralised following 24 hours Darjeeling bandh call given by the student wing of Gorkha Jana Mukti Morcha (Vidhyarti Morcha) from Thursday morning. The Vidhyarthi Morcha has called this bandh protesting against for not providing permission to organise student conference in plains of Siliguri by the Darjeeling district administration fearing there would be breach of law and order. On the other hand, the Gorkha Jana Mukti Morcha has called separate bandh tomorrow protesting against the killing of 24 Eastern Frontiers Rifles jawans at the camp on the Maoists attack at Silda in West Midnapur district on 15th February.<br/>
