In UP, the normal life continues to be disrupted as there is further increase in the intensity of cold wave. The rail, road and air traffic continue to be disrupted. Several flights were delayed due to poor visibility at Lucknow and Varanasi airports. Lucknow remained the coldest place where the temperature was recorded at 3.2 degrees Celsius. The temperature hovered between 7 and 9 degrees Celsius this morning. The fog still continues in a major portion of the state. The weather office has predicted foggy conditions for next 48 hours.
