In Andhra Pradesh, normal life has been affected in Hyderabad due to heavy traffic restrictions imposed in the wake of the Telangana Joint Action Committee protest March to Hyderabad on Thursday. They are demanding the introduction of a bill in Parliament to carve out a Telangana state. People have been facing hardships due to traffic restrictions and disruption of public transport services in the state capital while tight security arrangements have been made to maintain law and order. AIR correspondent reports, police have been taking scores of Telangana JAC activists into preventive custody in Telangana Districts to foil the march and prevent them from reaching Hyderabad. In Delhi, Congress MPs from Telangana region staged a Dharna in front of Mahatma Gandhi's statue at the Parliament House in support of their demand for a separate state. They also raised slogans in support of Millennium march.
