Non-subsidised LPG cylinder price hiked by Rs 21; ATF by 9.2%

The price of Aviation turbine fuel, ATF, was today hiked by 9.2 per cent. Announcing this, oil companies said that the increase in rates is on global cues. In the fourth straight monthly increase, ATF price in Delhi has been increased by 3,945 rupees and 47 paisa per kilolitre to 46,729 rupees 48 paisa per kilolitre. The hike comes on the back of 1.5 per cent increase effected on May 1st and a steep 8.7 per cent hike on April 1.<br/><br/>Similarly, price of non-subsidised cooking gas was raised by 21 rupees per cylinder which consumers buy after exhausting their quota of subsidised twelve. Non-subsidised cooking gas now costs 548 rupees 50 paise in Delhi as against 527 rupees 50 paise previously.<br/><br/>Subsidised LPG costs 419 rupees 18 paise per 14.2 kg cylinder in Delhi.<br/><br/>The three fuel retailers — Indian Oil Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum and Bharat Petroleum — revise jet fuel and non-subsidised LPG prices on the first day of every month, based on the average international price in the preceding month.
