Leaders of 13 non NDA and non UPA parties, including the Left, said they will move a cut motion to seek roll back in the hike in prices of petrol, diesel and fertiliser on the 27th of this month. <br/> <br/>They have Also called a nationwide general strike on the issue on the same day .The CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury told a press conference in the presence of leaders of most of these parties that a strategy has been worked out in this regard. <br/> <br/>He said that the cut motion will be moved when the guillotine is applied on the Demands for Grants of the Finance Ministry. <br/> <br/>Mr Yechury added that the aim of opposition is not to destabilize the government but to give relief to the common man. The BJP said that it will support the cut motions on finance bill brought by any party. <br/> <br/>Briefing reporters in New Delhi on Thursday, party spokesperson Gopinath Munde said that the whole opposition is united against price rise and the hikes announced in the Budget. <br/> <br/>Mr Munde said that cut motions will be supported by all opposition parties, who so ever brings them. Mr Munde said that the BJP has not yet decided whether it will support the nation wide strike. <br/>
