CBI today arrested Yoga Guru Ramdev's aide Balakrishna in an alleged fake documents case .A special court in Dehradun issued a non-bailable warrant against him. Balakrishna was arrested by the investigation agency.On 10th of July the agency had filed a case against Balakrishna for reportedly submitting fake and forged documents to obtain an Indian passport.

The investigation agency has alleged that Balakrishna alongwith the then principal of a Sanskrit Mahavidayala in Khurja, Uttar Pradesh had conspired to issue the fake educational certificate which he used to obtain the passport. The agency has booked the two for criminal conspiracy, cheating and forgery and imposed additional charge for the alleged violation of the passport act against Balakrishna.
