Filing of nominations ends today for the Tiruchirapalli West Assembly by-election in Tamil Nadu to be held on October 13. Till now ten candidates including Paranjothi of AIADMK and K N Nehru of DMK had filed their nominations. These nominations will be scrutinized on Tueaday. The last date for withdrawal of nominations is 29th of this month. The votes will be counted on October 17 and the result will be announced on that day itself. The seat fell vacant as the sitting MLA and State Environment Minister Mariampichai died in a road accident near Padalur on May 23.
