Nomination filing picks up momentum for Karnataka Assembly Elections

In poll-bound Karnataka, candidates from BJP, Congress and other parties as well as independents are filing their papers in large numbers today. About 60 BJP candidates, including Speaker Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri, Araga Jnanendra and B Sriramulu are filing nominations today.<br />'' <br />''Several Congress leaders, including Ramalinga Reddy, are also scheduled to file nominations today. AIR correspondent reports that BJP is leading in declaring candidates, now, it has to select candidates for only two seats. Congress has to declare its candidates on 15 seats while JDS on 82 seats.
