The Rajya Sabha stands adjourned till 2 pm. As soon as the House reassembled after its first adjournment at 12 noon, many members got up raising different issues.

JD (U) leader Sharad Yadav demanded to know the Government’s stand on UPSC’s Civil Services Aptitude Test, CSAT.

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Prakash Javadekar responded that the government will soon find a solution to the stalemate.

Anand Sharma, Congress, raised the issued of bugging of Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari’s house. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu clarified that the issue has already been settled.

He urged the members to allow the proceedings to continue.
When his appeal failed and the House continued witnessing noisy scenes, the Chair adjourned the House till 2 pm.
