Tamil Nadu government today said it has not received any communication from slain LTTE chief Prabhakaran's mother, Parvathi Ammal, that she would not visit India for medical treatment. It also defended the conditions imposed on her, saying they are only for her good.<br/><br/>Chief Minister M Karunanidhi told the state Assembly that Parvathi Ammal has not written to the government that the conditions are not acceptable. Karunanidhi's response came when Congress member Peter Alphonse cited media reports that she has rejected the conditions attached to her visit to Tamil Nadu and does not wish to come to India and be treated like a prisoner. <br/><br/>Within hours after India stated that she would be given visa to visit Chennai, Parvathi Ammal flew back to Colombo yesterday en route to Velvittathurai near Jaffna. <br/><br/>Karunanidhi had made a suo motu statement in the Assembly yesterday, saying the Centre had decided to grant her six months visa to visit India for medical treatment, with certain conditions attached. Immigration officials had last month deported Parvathi Ammal to Malaysia from where she had come to Chennai for treatment. <br/><br/>The state government had written to the Union Home Secretary to consider allowing Parvathi Ammal for treatment provided certain conditions were met.<br/>

No word from Prabhakaran's mother on visit to India : Karunanidhi
