In Uttar Pradesh, no untoward incident has been reported from any part of the state after the Allahabad high court ruling and Friday prayer at various mosques passed of peacefully. The security personnel have been directed to remain on alert.AIR Lucknow correspondent reports the district officials have been directed to ensure that there was no celebration or protest by any community over verdict of the court on Ayodhya title case. The Chief Minister has directed all police and administrative officers that law and order situation should be monitored strictly and they should remain alert. She has again appealed to the people of the State to maintain communal harmony and peace. She said that her Government would deal strictly with those persons who would indulge in disturbing law and order. Aerial surveillance will be continuing over sensitive areas across the state. In the sensitive districts security has been strengthen with deployment of about 30 companies of the central paramilitary forces deployed at the Allahabad High Court and its Lucknow bench. One company each are deployed on the premises of Allahabad High Court and its Lucknow bench. Aerial surveillance will be continuing over sensitive areas across the state. At twin city Ayodhya and Faizabad Life is normal and atmosphere is relaxed. Number of visitors to temples and Ghats are now increased. Sensitive areas all around the city are specially monitored with security personnel.Karnataka remained peaceful with no untoward incidents reported from any part of the State post Ayodhya land dispute verdict. However, police continued to keep a strict vigil. Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and Director General of Police Ajay Kumar Singh thanked the people of the State for remaining calm, belying apprehensions of any trouble.AIR correspondent Sudhindra reports from Bangalore that prohibitory orders under Sec 144 of Cr PC imposed since yesterday remained in place, but people moved freely to resume their daily chores. The tech hub of Bangalore was at its bustling best today. Shops, business establishments and malls did normal business. This was contrary to the deserted look of streets last evening, after the court verdict. However Schools and colleges remained closed, as per the government's decision on the second day today. Relieved over no trouble happening, the authorities allowed the liquor shops to open today. However, they will close again tomorrow on account of Gandhi Jayanti. IT companies across the two hubs of Whitefield and Electronic City resumed work today after they closed shop for half a day, yesterday. DG Police Dr Singh said 2,000 mobile squads and most of the 50,000 policemen remained deployed throughout the state.
