Congress Working Committee Member and Incharge for Punjab, Gulchain Singh Charak has said that those Congressmen against whom corruption charges have been proved will not be considered for tickets to contest in the upcoming assembly elections.Speaking to AIR Jalandhar correspondent on Thursday, he said that there is zero tolerance against corruption in the party. However, he said that to give party ticket to those Congressmen against whom the corruption cases are still going on would be decided on merit. Earlier, addressing a press conference in Jalandhar after attending a party meeting of Rural Distt Congress, he supported Anna Hazare’s campaign against corruption and at the same time said Anna’s way of proceeding with this issue is debatable.
