India today said, it is not in a position to resume the composite dialogue with Pakistan till "vigorous prosecution" is mounted against the accused in the 26/11 case and the infrastructure of terror across the border, responsible for the numerous attacks, is dismantled. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor said, Pakistan has to ensure that the infrastructure of terror from which so many attacks have taken been launched in our country should be dismantled. He said, so far we have not seen sufficient progress on this. Mr. Tharoor said, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has said very clearly to Pakistan to take the first step, and India will reach more than half-way. He said, that first step has not been taken.

India has been demanding prosecution of LeT chief Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the Mumbai carnage, and has handed over several dossiers to Pakistan in connection with the case. Referring to Mumbai terror attacks, Mr. Tharoor said, the Government wants to see everyone involved in the case is brought to justice and has not let anyone off the hook. He said, the ministries are dealing "very seriously" with matters connected with the Mumbai carnage.
