In Rajasthan, there are no signs of the Gujjar agitation coming to end soon as the Gujjar leaders are not responding positively to the commitments and proposals of the state government. The Chief Minister and the Cabinet sub-committee are repeatedly expressing their commitment to give five per cent reservation to the SBCs including Gujjars, but Col. Kirori Singh Bainsla is adamant on handing over the letter granting reservation on the railway tracks in Pilupura. Meanwhile, the agitation which entered the ninth day today has taken 18 districts in its grip. Bandh is being observed in six towns of the state today. Rail and road traffic still remains paralysed.
