No sign of withdrawal of southwest monsoon, says MeT Dept

There are no signs of withdrawal of southwest monsoon from central, eastern and north western parts of the country, says the Indian Meterological Department. Northern India is also likely to receive rain and thundershowers all through the week. According to MeT Department there has been a fairly widespread of rainfall in all parts and the country has received three percent more rainfall so far this season.
In National Capital Delhi, humidity levels remain high at sixty two percent even two days after a heavy downpour making the climatic conditions sticky. The Minimum temperature has dropped further to 26.6 degree Celsius two notches below normal while the highest remains at 34.1 degree Celsius. Though the Delhiites woke up under a clear sky but MeT officials have forecast overcast conditions by the evening. The city is likely to experience one or two spells of rain and thundershowers in next 24 hours with the mercury likely between 25 and 30 degrees.
