<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka Health and Medical Education minister Dr. K Sudhakar has informed that the state has received 15 lakh doses of Covid vaccine yesterday. Speaking to the media in Bengaluru today, he said that 10 lakh doses were received in Bengaluru and five lakh doses in Belagavi. With 11 lakh doses of existing stock, the minister said that there is no shortage of vaccine in the state now.<br />''<br />''Expressing concern over a surge in Covid cases in the state, the minister said that the increase in positive cases has put pressure on the availability of ICU beds in the Government hospitals and added that he will review the allocation of 20 percent of beds in the private hospitals for the Covid patients. He disclosed that the Covid Technical Advisory Committee has predicted the surge to continue till May end.</span><br />
