Railway Minister Piyush Goyal today said that general managers have been given full powers to sanction out of turn safety related works without any ceiling. <br/><br/>Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Mr Goyal said, Divisional Railway Manager (DRMs) and Chief Workshop Managers have been given powers to re-engage retired railway employees up to 62 years of age against vacancies. <br/><br/>He said, this will take care of safety and maintenance related works wherever there are vacancies. <br/><br/>The Minister said, enhanced powers for repairs of Track Machines have also been given to the field officers for faster track safety work. Mr Goyal said, Indian Railways does not have any shortage of funds, especially when it comes to safety. <br/><br/>He said, CCTVs will be installed in all the trains and stations for better security. Mr Goyal said, for better supervision and coordination, ADRMs posts are increased in all railway divisions. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>
