No shortage of funds for developmental activities in naxal-hit areas: Ramesh

The Union Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh has said that there will be no shortage of funds for developmental activities in the naxal-hit areas.

The Minister said that the state and the Central government are trying to find ways to solve the naxal problem. Mr. Ramesh was in Chhattisgarh on Monday in connection with the inauguration of Sukma as the 23rd district of the state.

The new district which is the most naxal affected district in the state, was inaugurated by the Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh on Monday.

This district was carved out of the Dantewada district and came into existence from the first of this month along with eight other new districts.
