Government today said there is no shortage of food-grains to implement the food security in the country under the National Food Security Act. <br/><br/>In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, C R Chaudhary said the stock of wheat and rice in the central pool is 53.32 million tons on 1st of last month against the buffer norms of 41.12 million tons to meet the demand for the PDS and other welfare schemes.
