Due to proper surveillance , no positive case has been reported in Assam so far. Chief Minister Sarbanand Sonowal today visited Bongaigaon and Barpeta districts to assess the ground situation . He also interacted with a few ASHA workers who are tirelessly working at ground level. Guwahati Police Commissioner Munna Prasad Gupta said that Guwahatians are following the lock down norms well. He said that police are always ready to help people whenever required. The efforts of the police to feed needy people and street animals have been appreciated by all.</span><br />
