No rethink on the Telangana issue says Centre; Home Min rules out President's rule in state

The Centre has ruled out any rethink on bifurcating Andhra Pradesh. Union Cabinet Secretary Ajit Kumar Seth told a news agency in New Delhi that there cannot be a rethink on the issue. A decision has already been taken by the Cabinet. Mr Seth's remarks came on a day when government reorganised the Group of Ministers, GoM panel for working out modalities of creation of the new Telangana state.
Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has ruled out the possibility of imposing President's rule in Andhra Pradesh. He told reporters in New Delhi that there is no plan under consideration to impose President's rule in the state.
The Centre has reorganised the Group of Ministers, GoM on Telangana. The number of members has been reduced from ten to seven. Union Ministers AK Antony, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Veerappa Moily and Jairam Ramesh are the new members of the GoM. Other members of the panel are Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, Finance Minister P Chidambaram and Minister of State for Personnel and Prime Minister's Office V Narayanasamy.
Meanwhile, Telugu Desam Party Chief Chandrababu Naidu said, he will continue his agitation till justice is achieved.
Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh said that the party took the decision after all politial parties agreed to it in writing.
CPI (M) leader Sitaram Yechuri said, there should be no further delay.
