No respite from heat wave sweeping country

Sizzling temperatures coupled with hot winds made life miserable for people in many parts of the country . Two people succumbed to the extreme weather in

western Uttar Pradesh. Delhi recorded a maximum of 44.4 degrees celsius, four notches above normal and a minimum of 34.3 degrees, which is the highest this season.

In Madhya Pradesh Naugaon in Chattarpur district and Morena recorded a maximum temperature of 47.5 degrees Celsius.Churu in Rajasthan remained the hottest place with Mercury touching 47 degree celsius. Met officials said the heat conditions would continue for some more days .
