No respite from extreme cold conditions in UP

<br/>In Uttar Pradesh, there is no respite from extreme cold conditions prevailing for the past 20 days. The fog continues to hamper normal activities. Visibility is poor on roads resulting in increased cases of road accidents. The Churk town of Mirzapur district recorded the coldest minimum temperature of 2.4 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature hovered between 4 to 6 degrees Celsius across the state. Various agencies have put the death toll in the state between 470 and 600 due to cold.
