No respite from COVID-19 for Kulgam district as 27 new positive cases reported

<span style="color: #222222;">In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, there seems to be no respite from Covid-19 for Kulgam district of south Kashmir as 27 more new positive cases were reported yesterday taking the total number of cases in the district to 255. Total number of cases in the district now stands at 255 out of which 230 are active while 26 patients have recovered so far. Kulgam district is now topping the list with highest active positive cases in Jammu & Kashmir. Four coronavirus patients has also died due to Covid-19 in the district.<br />''<br />''Jammu and Kashmir yesterday witnessed the biggest ever single day surge of 162 positive case since the outbreak of Cornavirus pandemic, taking the total number of positive cases in the Union Territory to 1921. The cause of concern is the detection of some positive cases who have no contact history at all. Many of them are the young women in their early twenties. Meanwhile,  two more persons one from Feteh Kadal in Srinagar and another from Anantnag have fallen prey to this deadly pandemic taking the COVID death toll in the Union Territory to twenty six so far.</span><br />
