No death of bird has been reported today from any zoo in Delhi and Madhya Pradesh which are affected by the Avian Influenza or Bird Flu. The Monitoring Committee constituted by the Environment Ministry today reviewed the control and containment of the avian influenza situation. In its report, the Committee has said that there is no report of death of any bird in National Zoological Park and Dear Park in Delhi and Gwalior zoo.<br/><br/> It said, the zoos remained closed for the safety of visitors and control of the disease. An official release said, measures to control the spread of avian influenza in the affected zoos are in place. It said, the zoo is being screened regularly for any dead bird. Bio-security measures are being strictly enforced.
