Curfew continued for the second day today in four areas of Bareilly city even as additional force was deployed, officials said.Additional force was deployed in Baradari, Prem Nagar, Qila and Kotwali areas and there would be no relaxation in the curfew, which was clamped yesterday following clashes in Jagatpur and Kalibari areas, District Magistrate said. Directives have been issued to relax curfew only for special occasion, he said.Over 200 persons were arrested yesterday in connection with the clashes, out of which 48 were booked for curfew violations, police said.Trouble broke out in Baradari area on Saturday when two groups clashed after a Janmashtami procession deviated from its fixed route and was stopped by some persons in Jagatpur Panwaria locality.In the wake of clash curfew was clamped in four areas of the city and all schools and colleges have been closed till further orders.
