Odisha Vidhan Sabha will not have question hour during the upcoming session beginning tomorrow. The forty days winter session of the state assembly will continue till the 31st of December. As per the official release, the session will be conducted while adhering to the covid-19 guidelines.
''
''Adequate precautions and preventive measures have been taken to make the session covid-safe. While MLAs and all the support staff have been screened during the three days long testing camp ending today, only those will be allowed inside the assembly who have tested covid negative. Besides this, the assembly hall and the premises will be sanitized on a daily basis.
''
''In addition, the sitting arrangements inside the house have been made in keeping with the demands of social distancing. It has also been decided not to distribute any paper except those of very urgent nature. In yet another significant decision, answers to the unstarred questions would be sent to the concerned members by post.
''
''Senior and elderly members of the house have been given the option to join the proceedings through digital means from different locations. Barring day one, in the rest of the days that include Saturdays and Sundays, the sitting will be spread over four and a half hours daily.
