Department of Personnel and Training today clarified that there is no proposal under consideration to extend working hours of Central Government employees. <br/><br/>In a statement, the Ministry said, the news items appearing in a section of media about extension of timings and abolishing Saturday holidays are false and baseless. It said, there is neither any oral nor unwritten order issued in this regard.<br/><br/>
