The Government today said there is no proposal to revise royalty on major minerals. Mines Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said while replying to supplementaries in the Rajya Sabha. Stating that the Government is committed towar5ds greater revenue earnings for states, the Minister said the Indian Mines Bureau is presently looking into the matters relating to royalty on minerals.
