<span style="color: #222222;">Railway Minister, Piyush Goyal has assured that there is no proposal to privatise the Indian Railways. He gave this information in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today. He said &nbsp;Railway Infrastructure would need an investment of 50 lakh crore rupees between 2018-2030. <br />''<br />''The Minister said, it is being planned to use Public Private partnership (PPP) to facilitate faster development of network to bridge the gap in the Capital funding.&nbsp; He added that there are also some proposals to use module for inducting modern rakes to run trains on select routes with an objective to provide improved service delivery to passengers.&nbsp; He said, the responsibility of train operations and safety certification rests with Indian Railways in all such cases.</span><br />
