No proposal to privatise Railways: Piyush Goyal

<span style="color: #222222;">Railway Minister, Piyush Goyal has assured that there is no proposal to privatise the Indian Railways. He gave this information in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today. He said  Railway Infrastructure would need an investment of 50 lakh crore rupees between 2018-2030. <br />''<br />''The Minister said, it is being planned to use Public Private partnership (PPP) to facilitate faster development of network to bridge the gap in the Capital funding.  He added that there are also some proposals to use module for inducting modern rakes to run trains on select routes with an objective to provide improved service delivery to passengers.  He said, the responsibility of train operations and safety certification rests with Indian Railways in all such cases.</span><br />
