The Planning Commission today said that presently there is no proposal of special package for Jharkhand to create adequate infrastructure to tap its immense natural and mineral resources.

However, over 51 crore has been allocated for sub-sector Minerals for the State in the Eleventh Five Year Plan. According to an official release issued in New Delhi, the Commission has given a special dispensation to the State under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana to create adequate infrastructure regarding rural roads.
