No proof of gangrape, tongue being chopped off in Hathras case: UP Police

<span style="color: #222222;">Uttar Pradesh police today claimed that there is neither any proof of gangrape of the deceased girl of Hathras nor her tongue was chopped off. Addressing media today on this issue ADG law and Order of state Prashant Kumar said that as per the postmortem report of the victim which was done in  Safdarjang hospital of Delhi there are no signs of rape on the body and also the FSL report denies any trace of sperm.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that some people tried to flare up tension in state on caste lines and spread rumours. He further added that police will investigate about those persons and forces who are trying to malign the image of the state police.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Talking about the details of the case registered in Hathras, he said that local police acted promptly in this case. Mr.Kumar said that Victim filed a case only on the charges of physical assault and two videos have also surfaced regarding this. Charges of Gangrape were added later. <br />''<br />''Talking about the zero tolerance policy of state towards such crimes he said that UP police is sensitive towards the cases related to women and children and state has the highest  conviction rate in such cases in country. </span><br />''
