No problems if drones used against Taliban: IAF Chief

With US planning to supply Drones to Pakistan, India said it has sensitised Washington about its concerns over the misuse of assistance to Islamabad . However IAF Chief Air Chief Marshal P V Naik said that India has no problems as long as these unmanned aerial vehicles are used against Taliban Talking to reporters in Bangalore he elaborated that there is no difficulty over the economic assistance or any type of assistance provided to Pakistan, as long as it is not used against India. These UAVs will significantly enhance Pakistan's surveillance and connaissance capabilities. However, Naik remained non-committal on the possibility of Islamabad sharing the predatory technology with China. The decision to supply 12 RQ-7 Shadow Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV's) to Pakistan was announced by visiting US Defence Secretary Robert Gates during an interaction with the local media in Pakistan.
