With US planning to supply Drones to Pakistan, India said it has sensitised Washington about its concerns over the misuse of assistance to Islamabad . These UAVs will significantly enhance Pakistan's surveillance and connaissance capabilities. However, Naik remained non-committal on the possibility of Islamabad sharing the predatory technology with China. The decision to supply 12 RQ-7 Shadow Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV's) to Pakistan was announced by visiting US Defence Secretary Robert Gates during an interaction with the local media in Pakistan.
