Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh today ruled out an investigation into the alleged charges of corruption against former Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel.
He told reporters in New Delhi that he would like the media to convey the Canadian Authorities factual position in the case in order to avoid any embarrassment to the government.
Mr. Ajit Singh was responding to the questions about a report carried by a Canadian Daily in this regard. The paper reported that the then Civil Aviation minister and officials of AIR India took bribes into the procurement case in 2006.
