The government has no plans at present to set up Kendriya Vidyalayas on Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) in the country.

Replying to supplementaries during question hour in the Rajya Sabha, Human Resource Development Minister M M Pallam Raju said the Board of Director of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan at its meeting early this year, decided not to introduce PPP scheme for opening of new Kendriya Vidyalayas.
