Government says, there is no official estimation of black money either before or after the announcement of demonetisation of old 500 and 1,000 rupee notes. This was stated by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today. <br/><br/>He said, Income Tax Department conducted searches on 1,356 groups of assesses between April 2014 and November 2016, which led to admission of undisclosed income of 31,277 crore rupees. Besides, undisclosed assets worth 2,164 crore rupees were seized.
