Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today presented an Interim Budget for the year 2014-15 before the State Assembly. The Interim Budget proposes no new taxes and provision has been made for an expenditure of over eighty thousand crore rupees for April to July 2014. The Chief Minister who also hold the finance portfolio also tabled a white paper on revenue and expenditure for the next fiscal. The revised estimate for 2013-14 pegged the fiscal deficit at over 6,800 crore rupees for the last financial year ending March 2014.
