No new tax has been proposed in the Mizoram interim budget for the year 2012-13 tabled in the state assembly on Thursday. State Finance Minister H Liansailova presented the Vote-on-Account for 1,663 crore rupees for the first four months of the ensuing financial year from April to July, 2012.The Finance Minister also submitted the supplementary demand for 783 crore rupees for 2011-12.He stressed upon the resource generation by the state. The Economic Survey 2011-12 presented by the Finance Minister projected the growth of the state economy at ten per cent during the current fiscal. Tomorrow there will be a discussion on Vote-on-Account.
