AIR correspondent reports that while addressing the people of Maharashtra through facebook live Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has advised people to avoid unnecessary crowding at the shops allaying fear that there is no shortage of essential commodities and medicines. He also urged the people to understand the seriousness of the situation underlined by the Prime Minister. The state government has created a special whatsapp number to provide official information about COVID-19. He also appealed  the people to come forward and give the correct information if they have returned from foreign countries.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has appealed people to follow the guidelines issued by the government. At the same time he has warned that police has given freedom to take action against those violating the guidelines during the lockdown period. </span><br />
