In the World Wrestling Championships, men's freestyle grappler Narsingh Yadav missed out on a bronze medal after going down 1-6 to Ali Shabanau of Belarus in the repechage final of the 74kg category at the in Budapest in Hungary yesterday. The freestyle wrestler had an opportunity to create history for India by bagging a record third-medal at the ongoing championships. Amit Kumar in the 55kg and Bajrang in 60kg have bothe been winners in the tournament. In other contests yesterday, Nirmala Devi (48kg) and Vinesh (51kg) made early exits from the women's competition at the Papp Laszlo Sports Arena in Hungary.
