No major impact of Singur incident on Bengal's industrial programme: Buddhadev

West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharya says, the Singur incident has not created any major impact on the State’s industrial programme. Speaking at a programme of the Confederation of Indian Industries Buddhadev Bhattacharya said that the State Government has acquired land even after the Singur incident. He said that about six thousands acres of land has been acquired for a new Airport and a Steel Industry. He said about Nine thousand crore rupees have been invested in industrial modernization plans. He stressed on the need for renewal of central laws in acquisition of land.
