No lockdown to be imposed in the state, he said in a tweet message.<br />'' <br />'' The statement from CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan came after media reports claimed that the Madhya Pradesh government had been mulling imposing lockdown in some parts of the state to contain the spread of coronavirus or COVID-19.<br />'' <br />'' During a meeting with seven district collectors and other officials over the coronavirus situation, the Chief Minister decided against lockdown.<br />'' <br />''The state has so far recorded more than 1lakh 89 thousand coronavirus cases, including 3,138 deaths. A total of 917 patients were discharged from hospitals today, taking the state's overall recovery count to 1 lakh 76 thousand.</span>
