In Bihar, there is no let up in flood situation in the state. Ten districts including West Champaran, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur and Sheohar are in the grip of flood. Twelve teams of NDRF and SDRF are carrying out relief and rescue operations in the affected areas. Marooned people are shifting to higher and safer places. Deputy Chief Minister Renu Devi said, relief camps and community kitchens  have been set up in flood affected areas. Medical teams have also been deployed for COVID vaccination among flood ravaged people. They are taking help of country boats to provide medical facilities to the affected people.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #000000;">Meanwhile, train services on Darbhanga-Samastipur rail section of East Central Railway has been restored following receding of flood waters on track. Rail traffic on this route was suspended about a fortnight due to inundation of rail track. After improving the condition at least 12 pairs of Special Trains would now run again on the route. The Chief Public Relation Officer of East Central Railway Rajesh Kumar said, Railways will however, carry on surveillance on the rail bridge and tracks along the bridge on the Muktapur- Samastipur route.</span><br />

In Bihar, there is no let up in flood situation in Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, West Champaran and Gopalganj districts of the state. All major rivers including Kosi, Bagmati, Burhi Gandak and Adhwara group of rivers are flowing above danger level. AIR Patna correspondent reports that over three lakh people are reeling under the impact of floods. Swirling water of river Oriya engulfed new areas of West Champaran. Marooned people have taken shelter on national highways and embankment. Rail traffic on Narkatiyaganj-Raxaul section of East Central Railway has been suspended after flood waters submerged railway tracks. Flood water also entered Sikta Railway Station on the section. Passengers are facing hardship following suspension of train services.
