In Bihar, there is no let up in flood situation in Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, West Champaran and Gopalganj districts of the state. All major rivers including Kosi, Bagmati, Burhi Gandak and Adhwara group of rivers are flowing above danger level. AIR Patna correspondent reports that over three lakh people are reeling under the impact of floods. Swirling water of river Oriya engulfed new areas of West Champaran. Marooned people have taken shelter on national highways and embankment. Rail traffic on Narkatiyaganj-Raxaul section of East Central Railway has been suspended after flood waters submerged railway tracks. Flood water also entered Sikta Railway Station on the section. Passengers are facing hardship following suspension of train services.
